Reasons to Smile

Posted by 1 April 2014 0 Comment

Think one smile can’t change the world? At Oakville Place Dental Office, we are trying to change that notion with our Reasons to Smile charity campaign. Every time you share your reasons to smile on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook using the hashtag #ReasonsToSmileOPD, we’ll donate $1 to one of these local charities:

  • Oakville Human Society: This organization finds loving and permanent homes for cats and dogs, and they also run a donation program to help abused or abandoned animals. If you choose to put your donation towards this charity, you will be helping to change the lives of animals for the better, and help them find “forever homes”.

  • Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD): is a charitable, grassroots organization that is committed to stopping impaired driving and supporting the victims/survivors of this violent crime. Your donation will help fund services and programs to educate and to support victims of drunk driving.

  • Big Brothers and Sisters of Halton: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton has been providing mentorship opportunities since 1969. They started out matching Big Brothers and Big Sisters with Little Brothers and Little Sisters and have grown to include a variety of different programs that serve both boys and girls. Your donation will make the difference in a young person’s life, and help give them the tools to succeed.
